Aspire has partnered with Jere Baxter Middle School to bring our award-winning college and career readiness Dream BLDRS program to you!
We are thrilled to announce the launch of DREAM BLDRS, our College and Career Readiness Program at Jere Baxter Middle School! Led by renowned speaker, Best-selling author, and educator Patrick Walker-Reese. Dream BLDRS is designed to empower our students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to explore their future academic and career pathways through vision-based learning.

Program Overview
Starting in October, DREAM BLDRS will engage students in a variety of activities, including workshops, guest speakers, and hands-on projects that focus on critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership skills. Throughout the program, students will have the opportunity to:
- Discover different career options and the education required for them
- Develop essential skills such as Smart Goal Setting, presentation techniques, and effective communication
- Explore personal interests and strengths through assessments and interactive activities
- Learn from professionals in various fields during our guest speaker sessions
DREAM BLDRS HIGHLIGHTS
- Dream BLDRS college and career readiness socio-emotional learning (SEL) workshops utilizing creative approaches to reveal the tools and techniques for dream building.
- Unique Incentives: limited edition BeTheDream t-shirt giveaways for high participation, book giveaways: PatFacts 2: More Than a Dream and The Book of Vision, cash prizes for winners from the vision statement competition in the Dream BLDRS Goal Setting workshop.
- In-depth Q&A with the Aspire team: Patrick Walker-Reese, Christina Raiford, and Malik Yant
- Guest Speakers: Meet and greet with business leaders like the Founders of Slim & Husky's, NFL & NBA athletes, Grammy-winning artists, community leaders, and more!

The Dream BLDRS™ workshops integrated interactive sessions focusing on Vision creation, character assessment, personal branding, and ideal employee/company traits.
As students transition to high school and beyond, it’s crucial for them to start considering their future goals and the steps needed to achieve them. This program aims to inspire and equip them with the tools necessary for making informed decisions about their education and career paths.

We believe that family support plays a vital role in a student's success. We encourage you to engage with your child about what they’re learning and to participate in our closing event in December, where students will showcase their projects and share their experiences.
