Aspire - Dream bldrs
Program Overview
For the first semester of the 2024-25 school year, Wright Middle School partnered with Aspire’s Dream BLDRS program to provide an exceptional learning experience for their students. Through this initiative, students engaged in a vision statement activity, allowing them to articulate their future aspirations and outline how they plan to contribute positively to others. This process included identifying their strengths and developing personal branding strategies that would serve as leverage in achieving their long-term goals. The Dream BLDRS program aimed to inspire students to take proactive steps toward their dreams while fostering a deeper sense of purpose.
- Empower students to articulate their aspirations: Facilitate activities that help students create comprehensive vision statements outlining their future goals and how they plan to contribute to society.
- Enhance soft skills and social-emotional learning: Provide tools and workshops to improve students' confidence, communication, and interpersonal skills to prepare them for future success.
- Identify and leverage personal strengths: Guide students in recognizing their strengths and developing personal branding strategies to support their ambitions.
- Foster self-expression and engagement: Create an intimate and supportive environment, particularly for second-language English speakers, to ensure active participation and personalized learning experiences.
